Airport City……. Airport City, Denver, CO. What does that say to all of you who live in Colorado? Or to businesses wanting to move to Colorado? The Mayor of Denver put on a press conference yesterday April 26th to reveal the new idea and vision of the new city going to be called Airport City. This “city” will be within the 53 square miles around the already existing Denver International Airport. It will include a business park, a golf course and many more hotels and restaurants.
Now after watching the video. Do you all think this is a good idea? Denver passed this but they wouldn’t pass having a Nascar stadium outside city limits? They will allow to spend taxpayer money to fund this project to bring more jobs and money to the city, but wouldn’t build a stadium that could bring about 100,000 people twice a year to the city. We all already know that within this new Airport City project, they are working with RTD (Regional Transportation District of Denver) to create a lightrail service from the airport all of the way to Union Station downtown, which connects to countless areas around the city.
